Listening to children

Our collaborative video project with the Children’s Society, a council, a primary school and its pupils celebrated a democracy project to get children redesigning their school playground. We filmed the children as the project evolved from classroom consultation to mission accomplished, showcasing their work, thinking and ideas.

The resulting video, Our Space, was used by the Local Government Association to demonstrate democracy in action and became part of a guide to best practice. The commissioning team from Camden council won ‘management team of the year’ award from LGC magazine.
