Culture change at doctors’ regulator
The General Medical Council (the national doctors’ regulator) needed a new approach to internal and external communications following the adoption of a new, streamlined structure. It also faced criticism during the Shipman Inquiry.
We worked with their communications and policy teams to provide training for staff and members on their developing roles. We provided media awareness and interview training and advised on specific communications issues in the run-up to the Inquiry’s second report.
